Lucia's First Story

Lucia told her first story earlier this week. Here it is, in her words:

- Gavin crashed [into the gate at the top of the stairs]
- Lucia [asked] "Are you ok, Big Brother?"
- Lucia kissed Gavin [sweetly, on the top of his head]

"I Clean Moose"

For some reason, a favorite morning activity of late is to clean the rocking moose with wipes, while chanting "I clean moose!"

Happy Birthday Finn & Lucia!

Mariela threw a birthday party for the twins at the park, complete with bubbles, balloons and cupcakes!

Here they are showing their gifts from Gavin -- Barney (for Lucia) and Wiggles (for Finn) DVDs for car rides! Finn is sporting the new sunglasses that he got for his birthday from Gavin's pals.

And to top it all off, Nonnie came up for the weekend, to celebrate, as well!

Easter Egg Hunt

Lots of Easter Egg hunts over the last week. The kids loved it!

After winning the big prize (a Shrek donkey basket) at last week's Hindley egg hunt, Gavin was determined to continue his streak and clean up at the Tokeneke egg hunt. Here he is showing off the stuffed egg basket.

Even Finn and Lucia got into it! Poor Finn slept thru the Tokeneke hunt, but here they are at an earlier hunt during the week.

Twins, All Grown Up

Here are the twins, getting ready to head out to a friend's birthday party. I love Finn's expression (in real life he's much more impish; I don't know why he photographs so serious)
