sneaky....

Last week, when I asked Gavin to share some of the 7 pretzels he had grabbed with Finn, he told me "No, they're mine and I'm going to put my germs on all of them so nobody else can eat them".   And in 30 seconds flat, he had bitten the top off each and every one.

Ironman comes to Disney

Upon learning that he is to be photographed, Finn immediately puts on his Iron Man mask...

...and poses menacingly.

The twins are finally going to 'camp' aka hotel babysitting and as a reward get to go in costume.  They love camp and their parents are thrilled that nobody has revealed that the twins are technically too young to attend and not quite potty trained.  Phew!

Monorail -- in his own row

 After going on the roller coaster twice in a row, he actually made me take him on the monorail...to the parking lot.  I think this may be his favorite 'ride' at Disney!

Gavin the racecar driver

Last year Gavin desperately wanted to drive at the Indy Speedway but the line was too long.  This year, he managed to get his license (which he is VERY proud of).  Mommy had to press the gas pedal for him, but he happily steered around the track.

Gavin at the Jedi Academy

At Hollywood Studios, we signed Gavin up to attend the Jedi Academy.  Each padawan was given a robe and a light saber.  Here's Gavin on stage with his (hilarious) Jedi instructor.

 Suddenly, some Storm Troopers show up and interrupt the lesson!

And best of all Gavin gets to battle Darth Vader.  Sadly his parents couldn't figure out how to use the movie feature on the iphone so there are no videos :-(

Celebrities

"There are celebrities here?!"

Lucia was obsessed with June from Little Einsteins at our lunch. She followed her around, insisted on eating exactly what June was eating and generally monopolized her time.  

Needless to say, we didn't tell her that there were princesses at Disney.  Can you imagine what that would have been like??

The kids also met Buzz Lightyear (they were a little less excited compared to last year)

and with Chip and Dale (I'm not even sure the kids knew who they were)

Birthday boy

Gavin celebrated his 5th with a superhero themed party featuring a guest appearance by the Riddler. They met some animals with super powers and decorated capes. The Spiderman tattoos and kryptonite-enhanced Superman juice were big hits.
