Xmas Day

Gavin's favorite new toy is his dump truck.
Although he doesn't understand how to open presents, he displays great patience (for a change) while he waits for daddy to assemble them.
Gavin feasts throughout the holiday on all the yummy food Poh-poh has cooked for him.
With mommy at the Lincoln Park consevatory.
With Gung-gung and Poh-poh at the zoo, where he displays a great interest in lions.

Playgroup

Nathan couldn't make it to playgroup this time, so it was just me and the ladies. Here I am playing the piano with Emma and Riley
Maggie and her dad, Mike, who is covered in toddlers.

Boston for Aunt Jen's wedding!

Mommy's cousin Jen got married in Boston two weekends ago. Here she is with her new husband Gabe -- aren't they cute?

It was 80 degrees in Boston so I got all sweaty at the ceremony. My parents had to buy me a new shirt for the reception. Here I am, pooped after the ceremony.

Here I am at Sunday lunch the next day, with my fan club....oops, I mean Mommy's cousins. My head started to swell from all the attention.
Here are all of Mommy's cousins, with Tai-Poh and Tai-Gung.

I take after my uncle Jonathan

When I was in Maine over Labor Day, I amassed a huge collection of acorns, just like my uncle Jonathan used to do when he was little. Uncle Jonathan thought he was a squirrel, putting away food for the winter -- silly!

Here is a photo of me & my daddy in Maine.

Here I am sitting quite properly at the table for my morning breakfast.

Yi-Poh is here!

Yi-Poh was here visiting me. She took me to all kinds of fun places (here we are getting soaked at Millenium Park) and cooked lots of yummy food for me. I loved the wontons she made so much that I clapped my hands after eating them!

My new car

With my new car, I was the coolest kid at the park ... until some 3 year old showed up with a motorized sedan. Show off.

Here I am with my chauffeur...

Wearing the Hawaiian shorts that Uncle Jonathan and Aunt Kami got me.

4th of July in Maine

Gavin and Mommy at their favorite lunch spot on the Bagaduce River. Gavin's wearing the new cotton sweater Nonnie knit for him.

Here's the exterior of the house in Maine

Gavin loves looking out the window at the view of the water...

Pretending to be a dog peeing...

Posing with Daddy, in his new moose pajamas

With Nonnie and Daddy. Nonnie let him try some tea, which he seems to like.

Gavin *loves* to play with his toy phone. He refers to it as "da-dee!" because mommy always says "do you want to talk to daddy on the phone?"
