Halloween!

Gavin was a little cow (minus the hat, which he refused to wear) for Halloween. He's just about to get his hair pulled by a the little girl in the Steelers costume.

Here's a pic of Gavin wearing the sweater that Nonnie knit for him.

First food!

Yesterday Nonnie (aka Gavin's paternal grandmother) fed Gavin his first solid food, 1/2 tsp of rice cereal mixed with milk. He seemed to like it -- kept opening his mouth for more -- but unfortunately didn't seem to figure out that he needed to keep his mouth *closed* for the food to stay in. Oh well...practice makes perfect!

He rolled over!

Big news -- Gavin rolled over for the first time on Friday! So far he only knows how to flip from tummy to back.

In Maine

Gavin just came back from a trip to Maine. Here he is bathing in a lobster pot b/c the sink didnt have a stopper.

Gavin has a new bumbo chair that lets him sit up. His legs are soon going to be too fat for the chair though...

This is Gavin's first smile captured on film (taken in July)! He smiles if you rub his upper lip or if you clasp his two hands together and kiss them. Lots of babbling now, too.
