Lucia and Finn are here!

We're proud to announce that the newest members of the Hayes family arrived on April 7th!

Lucia (pronounced "loo-sha") was born at 3:58pm and weighed 5 pounds 5 ounces. Her brother Finlay (pronounced "fin-lee" or "fin-lae" if you're scottish...but we're just calling him Finn) was born a minute later and weighed 4 pounds 11 ounces. Both were 18 inches long.

We think Lucia looks more like Thomas, but has her Poh-poh's slender hands.

Finn is a bit more elfin and looks more like his mom, with Thomas' eyebrows.
Gavin's reaction to his new siblings (who he thinks are baby dolls) began with interest...
...but quickly evolved, once he realized he was no longer the star of the show.

Sticker Face

Gavin has a new fixation with stickers. And for some reason, he likes to put them on his face and hair.

Red Velvet Cake

Auntie Faith baked me a cake...
It is delicious! Unfortunately, mommy's "pregnancy-related" cake fetish has returned so I only get to eat one small cupcake.

Birthday Boy

Gavin turned two yesterday. He celebrated with cake and an Elmo balloon...
He *really* liked the cake...

And LOVES the motorcycle (aka "moti") that Pohpoh and Gunggung got him. Daddy is not as happy about the lack of a volume button, however.
