First snow (for us)

In Maine, sledding starts at 715am!

At their "rest station" in the woods.

The kids built a jump and a safety wall to keep themselves from sledding into the water.  We think Gavin was in charge of the design and architectural drawings...

Thanksgiving dinner in the dark with Nonnie!!

Nothing says classy like a candlelight dinner of smoked turkey on paper plates :-) 

In honor of the Pilgrim experience, Thomas fetched snow to melt into water.  Well, that and the lack of power...

The perfect weekend morning, as described by Gavin Hayes:

 - wake up at 7am

 - begin playing xbox with Finn

 - after 2 hours, take a breakfast break for homemade pancakes with chocolate or butterscotch chips

 - resume playing xbox
